The presentation by Dr. Church will be a Cultural Anthropology / Comparative Religion/ Missiological look at the Christian and Indigenous religions to include views of contextualization, syncretism and decolonization. Dr. Church will also look at the spirituality of the Great Lakes region and compare this to his work as a Missiologist on Turtle Island to show how he has used his undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University toward his future vocation. His presentation will have both Christian and indigenous religious topics and issues.
