EXCELLENT STUDENT SUPPORT

Students participating in Signature Programs will receive additional support from the study abroad office during the pre-departure and return phases of studying abroad. Students will also receive comprehensive support with housing, academics, travel, and wellness from our partner, WorldStrides, while on-site. 

TRAVEL WITH GVSU STUDENTS

Signature Programs provide an opporutnity for students to travel in a cohort. This style of experience builds community and connection among the student participants and enriches the overall study abroad experience. *GVSU cannot guarantee the number of GVSU students that participate in any given semester.

PASSPORT GRANT

Students who do not already have a passport that participate in a Signature Program are eligible to apply for a grant to cover the fee of obtaining a passport.

PROGRAM FEE DISCOUNT

All students who participate in any of the Signature Programs will receive 5% off of the published program fee from WorldStrides.

FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS WELCOME

Signature Programs are different because students are permitted to study abroad as early as the second semester of their freshmen year!
