Seville is the breathtaking capital of Andalusia. It is a colorful and vibrant city with a lot of things to do and explore.
Seville is the birthplace of Flamenco and has a long-standing legacy of bullfighting. The city boasts a rich blend of Christian, Moorish, and Jewish traditions, as evidenced in its beautiful monuments and architecture. Seville is home to the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, a temperate climate, vibrant neighborhoods, countless tapas bars, and boundless sunshine. Students in Seville delight in standing alongside local Sevillanos to partake in the unrivaled Spanish festivities during Semana Santa and the Feria de Abril.

Visa Information
Semester
Students studying more than 91 days or more will need to apply for and obtain a Study Visa. It will be your responsibility to obtain the correct visa.
ISA OFFERS AN OPTIONAL STUDENT VISA SERVICE
While it is optional, students are strongly encouraged to utilize the ISA Visa Service (if offered for your consulate in your jurisdiction) to avoid the problems many students encounter while applying for their visa independently. If you use the ISA Visa Service, you will mail your visa application materials to the ISA office, and ISA will go on your behalf to the consulate.
Summer
Academic programs 90 days or less DO NOT require a student visa.

Housing and Meals
Studying abroad in Spain will allow you the opportunity to indulge into aspects of the Spanish lifestyle that are inaccessible to the average visitor of Spain. Depending on your housing option, you will either be within walking distance to your university or conveniently located near public transit routes. Travel times to the various university buildings (with the exception of the UPO) generally range between 15 and 40 minutes depending on housing and class locations. With an open and adaptable mind, the experience of living in another culture can be highly rewarding.
Homestay
Host families are a great choice if you are seeking full linguistic and cultural immersion during your time abroad. Each host family has been carefully selected by ISA’s resident staff in order to best accommodate your needs and to ensure a comfortable situation. Homestays will provide three meals a day and laundry service once a week. You will typically share a room with another ISA student of the same legal gender. Single rooms may be available for an additional fee.
Apartment
Apartments are a great housing option if you are seeking complete independence during your time abroad. Apartments are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and availability is limited. Rent and utilities are included in the program price, and each apartment is fully furnished. Apartments, that are spread throughout the city, typically house 2-5 ISA students, with shared room occupancy. Meals and laundry service are not included.
You will pay a $300 refundable security deposit if living in this ISA housing option. ISA may retain some, or all, of this deposit in the event of damage to property, or if utility usage exceeds the allotted monthly amount.
Student Residence
The student residence is a great choice if you would like to be independent while living with other international and local students. With availability limited on a first-come, first-served basis, you will room with another ISA student of the same legal gender. Single rooms may also be available for an additional fee. Meals and laundry service are not included, however there is a kitchen available for use as well as laundry facilities.
