Area Coordinator - Full Time

Calvin University is hiring an Area Coordinator for next year.

Details: Be part of an outstanding team and grow professionally as you supervise 12-14 RAs and oversee two residence halls. The annual salary is $34,755, 2 months fully off in summer, 4 weeks off for holiday breaks, plus flexible paid time off days, professional development funds, full health benefits, 8% retirement contribution, 2-bedroom apartment & full meal plan included. Calvin Residence Life team includes 3 social workers and 1 case manager who assist with after-hours crisis response and mental health intervention, which allows area coordinators to only serve "on-call" from 8am-5pm one workday (M-F) per week. Residence Life Assistant - Part Time (2 positions)

Calvin University is hiring Residence Life graduate assistants for next year. These positions work 25 hours per week, schedule is flexible & can work around graduate classes. GAs gain professional experience in leadership, communication, management, mental health support, programming, advising student leaders, and inclusion. GAs participate in weekly professional development workshops with staff team. GAs receives consistent mentoring and feedback, in order to develop and strengthen core skills which transfer well to a variety of career fields. GAs are compensated with a free two-bedroom staff apartment on-campus, full meal plan and a competitive yearly stipend of $10,000. Graduate tuition is not included in the position. GAs enjoy 3 weeks off for winter break , a week off at spring break, and 2 months off in the summer. GAs serve "on-call" one day per week, during workday hours only (8am-5pm). Program Coordinator of Academic Success - Full Time

Purdue University is seeking an enthusiastic student affairs and learning assistance professional to join the Helen Bass Williams Academic Success Center team in supporting students and their academic goals. The program coordinator position is charged with responsibilities in an assigned programmatic area (Peer Success Coaching program) to provide students with a variety of opportunities to enhance their academic success strategies and skills. Additionally, this position will work with the ASC team to assist in general responsibilities of the ASC, which includes facilitating learning in one-on-one (consultations and supervision meetings), small-group (trainings and committee meetings), large group (workshops and trainings), and passive modes, supporting the efforts of the other ASC programs and services, and directing collateral projects for ASC graduate assistants.

Student Leadership and Involvement Coordinator

  • Serve as the primary contact and resource for assigned Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s)
  • Consult with and provide guidance to RSOs on topics such as organizational management, recruitment, fundraising, financial management, event planning, leadership development, and university policy
  • Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale Late Night Programming events throughout the academic year
  • Co-advise the student-run programming board
  • Coordinate, promote, implement, and evaluate MLK Day and Parade of Nations programming
  • Serve as a liaison on behalf of RSOs to regular campus partners
  • Manage resources and supplies that benefit all student organizations including the Student Organization Office
